This intriguing tour brings you to a picturesque viewpoint at Nagarkot for breathtaking sunrise and sunset views over the panorama of the high Himalayan mountain range, in addition to temples, monasteries, and palaces.

Upon arrival in Kathmandu and the Nepal international airport, our guide and staff will meet you for a short transfer to your hotel in the heart of Kathmandu, near Thamel, an interesting area. After checking in and getting refreshed, our guide will brief you on tour programs, including information about interesting places, local cultures, and other important details to make your stay in Nepal enjoyable. Evening time with group welcome supper in a lovely authentic Nepalese restaurant serving traditional local dinner with folk and cultural program as entertainment to go along with your tasty food.
In Kathmandu, our city guide will take you on a brief drive and walk around Old Durbar Square (royal courtyard), ancient Buddhist Stupa of Swayambhunath, Bouddhanath with Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, and back to the hotel in time for the next day's trip.
After breakfast, embark for another thrilling trip of Kathmandu Valley's neighboring cities, first stopping in the close south region of Patan / Lalitpur for an engaging visit of its colorful and bustling markets. The tour takes you through areas of great interest, including ancient temples and stupas, as well as the beautiful Old Palace courtyard, where the name Lalitpur means "city of fine arts and crafts." Enjoy a tour of Patan Durbar Square, which was created between the 6th and 16th centuries during the Malla dynasty, as well as numerous ancient monuments. Head east about 45 minutes from Patan/Lalitpur to reach Bhaktapur, an old medieval city with a rich heritage of previous splendor. Bhaktapur is known as the 'City of Devotees,' and its old name was Bhadgaon. Places to see in Bhaktapur include: Bhaktapur Nytapola Temple, Bhaktapur Durbar Square The Bhaktapur National Art Gallery, Dattarya Square, Pottery Square, and the market are all worth visiting. After a beautiful tour of Bhaktapur, drive uphill for an hour or less to famed and scenic Nagarkot for spectacular sunrise views over the chain of snowcapped mountains all the way to the Everest range, followed by a tour of world heritage sites near Bhaktapur.
Tour begins at 4:30 a.m. with two-hour drives and breakfast at Nagarkot with mountain views, followed by an hour tour and return to your hotel, which includes sightseeing around Bhaktapur. Tour runs from 4: 30 a.m. until around 1:00 p.m., with both directions being driven: Our guide will collect you up from your hotel lobby at 4: 30 a.m. for an exciting drive on the outskirts of Kathmandu city, traveling northeast past Bhaktapur city outskirts, as the trip goes uphill by farm communities to reach the 2,100 meters high Nagarkot peak. At Nagarkot, there is a view tower where you may catch the first morning rays and dawn views of the mountain panorama that stretches from the Manaslu-Ganesh-Langtang-Jugal Himal range in the east to the Mt. Everest range in the west. Nagarkot is a popular weekend destination for city dwellers looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu and relax in the midst of tranquil natural surroundings with spectacular views of dramatic landscapes and mountains. Enjoy the sunrise with breakfast at one of the area's lovely hotels and resorts, then drive downhill to Bhaktapur, a historic medieval city with a rich history. Our day tour concludes with a drive back to Kathmandu and to your respective hotels by mid-afternoon around 01 p.m., following an exciting and impressive tour of Bhaktapur and Nagarkot.
